Are Our Genes Important for Cooperation?

چکیده
Social cooperation is a state in which people work together on shared activity from they both benefit, and the success of each person dependent everyone doing their part. Imagine, for example, basketball game all team members make effort cooperate to win game. To study this kind social lab, we used rats. We created special maze two rats must coordinate behavior as pair, moving through sections maze. Using maze, found that rat’s genes are more important than its environment determining level cooperation.

The study followed a survey research design, in which 441 randomly selected extension educators in the North Central Region of the United States responded to a qu...
متن کاملP30: Are There Anxious Genes?
Anxiety comprises many clinical descriptions and phenotypes. A genetic predisposition to anxiety is undoubted; however, the nature and extent of that contribution is still unclear. Extensive genetic studies of the serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) transporter (5-HTT) gene have revealed how variation in gene expression can be correlated with anxiety phenotypes. Complete genome-wide linkage s...
متن کاملAcromion and glenoid shape: Why are they important predictive factors for the future of our shoulders?
The shape of the acromion differs between patients with degenerative rotator cuff tears and individuals without rotator cuff pathology. It can be assessed in the sagittal plane (acromion type, acromion slope) and in the coronal plane (lateral acromion angle, acromion index, critical shoulder angle). The inter-observer reliability is better for the measurements in the coronal plane.A large lateral...
متن کاملNew genes important for development.
T he genomic revolution has allowed scientists to scrutinize genomic features to previously impossible levels of precision and detail. The fully sequenced genomes of many related species have facilitated the detection of new genes and the examination of their origin and evolution by genomic and phylogenetic comparison. These new genes—defined as those that are lineageand/or species-specific and...
متن کاملI-32: Uterine Factors Are Important for Successful Embryo Transfer After IVF
Embryo transfer (ET) is the final and most crucial step of the IVF procedure, characterized by a close collaboration between the clinician and the embryologist. Several studies have shown improvement in clinical pregnancy rates resulting from a focus on different aspects of the gentle embryo transfer technique.
